Works well

I've had my grinder for a month, feeding an electric percolator, and it works well. It can grind the beans to a fine powder easily.

Don't buy this product

very disappointed with this purchase. Even on the finest setting the grind size is too course for basic espresso or stove top use. Even Sunbeam acknowledges this and at their recommendation I have had to spend another $50 importing special shims to make the burr grinder finer. Google around the issue and you will see tons of threads about this design problem

Just what I wanted,on demand grinder does one shot at a time.

I use a mocha pot to make my expresso coffee, and do not have a group handle to collect the grains. solved by getting a 100 ml beaker and making 2 marks for 1 or 2 shots of ground coffee. (like collecting ground coffee from those old wall grinders.)
Now able to choose exactly the taste I want by adjusting the grind and the amount of coffee when I grind. Compared with my old chopper grinder, the results are marvellous.
